    Style Inspo: Russell Westbrook

Russell Westbrook was named the NBA MVP recently after setting a record with 42 triple-doubles last season, and it's no surprise that basketball isn't the only thing he comes out on top of. Always adding #FashionKing to his outfit posts, this man is a walking runway, and he knows it. From overalls to white jumpsuits to red plastic glasses and a Prada comic shirt- he's a man that knows what works and effortlessly quirks up an outfit. I'm actually obsessed.
    Here..you'll be too:

    Kill 'em with the shoulder

Summer isn't messin' around. We jumped from denim jacket weather to wanting to go out in my birthday suit weather in a matter of days. I'm not complaining though!

I'm obsessing over this off the shoulder flounce top from SheIn. It's perfect for dressing up or simple enough to bring as a staple on vacation- paired with a printed bottom.

    Spring Silks

Wow wow wow, I haven't had a minute to write in a couple weeks, but I finally have a little down time and much to catch you up on slowly but surely. We'll start with what I'm wearing. I went home to Chicago for Easter and was able to shoot a couple of my favorite spring outfits. These silk pants I found at Rag and Bone over the winter and had to practice my patience waiting for warmer weather to wear them. I linked below two pairs that look really similar as well as two more tailored pairs. Nude and pale pink has got to be one of my favorite color combos. Add a darker lip, and bam! you'll have a look that's 9-5 appropriate and happy hour ready.

    Cheetah, Cheetah Pumpkin Eatah

You guys know how big of sucker I am for a statement coat. As spring is here but this final burst of coldness is still hanging out, I wanted to share my last outerwear piece for a while 😓. This cheetah coat has been the perfect winter/spring transition piece for me. It adds spunk to every outfit and is warm enough for January weather but also not too constricting to bring with you into March.

    Dine and Dash

    New York, NY, USA

This past Sunday, I finally made my way over to the Seinfeld diner, Tom's Restaurant. I always wanted to check it out but just never got around to it. The place itself was pretty small but being a little smushed was worth it for the choco-chip pancakes. I'm honestly still surprised I left my house considering it was 20 degrees!! Anywho, let's get to the details. This green jacket is one of my new favorite pieces. In the spring, I'll honestly be living in it. It's pretty lightweight and great for layering. Under that, I have a white Free People henley that I came across the last time I was in Chicago, but I did hunt it down online! Again, another great layering piece that can be dressed up or down. And lastly to accessorize, I have on a WellyMerck watch, which I just got about a week ago and am loving. ((Not pictured: my huge winter coat and fluffy scarf because I live in Antartica apparently)) After this, I did some exploring on the Upper West Side and came across a gorgeous church and park. This city never runs out of ways to surprise me. After a quick survey among my friends, I found out that a big chunk of them have NEVER even seen Seinfeld!! Not to be dramatic but I'm just wondering why they're depriving themselves. You guys watch it, right?! If not, no soup for you.

    Uptown Get-Around

Surprise!!! More outerwear!! My camel coat finally came from my home closet thanks to my friend visiting this weekend. It's one of my warmest, comfiest blanket coats from Topshop via Nordstrom. I was set out for a full day of walking from school to MoMa and Central Park so I wanted to stay comfy- pairing a simple sweater with my Lulu leggings and Hunter Chelsea rain boots. I definitely lucked out on weather this weekend with it being in the 60's. Although I'm having fun being able to spend more time outside, I'm not quite ready to put away these layers.
